Crème glacée aux châtaignes

Les châtaignes grillées évoquent l'ambiance des Fêtes alors que la crème glacée donne une touche fraîche aux saveurs traditionnelles.

Ingrédients

  • 1 ½ cups (200 g) chestnuts, roasted
  • 1 1/2 tasse (360 ml) de yogourt nature sans produits laitiers [ou yogourt à la vanille faible en gras]
  • 15 (105 g) dattes, dénoyautées
  • 780 g (6 tasses) de glaçons

Instructions

  1. Place chestnuts, yogurt and dates in to the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.  Blend for 30 seconds creating a very smooth base. Stop the machine.
  3. Add ice and secure the lid.  Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.  Blend for 20 seconds.
