Olive Tapenade
Use as a dip for bread to complement a cheese tray.
Ingredients
- 60 ml (4 Tablespoons) olive oil, optional
- Tablespoon (2 Tablespoons) fresh lemon juice
- 45 g (¼ cup) capers, drained
- Tablespoon (4 Tablespoon) fillets
- Tablespoon (2 Tablespoon) garlic, peeled
- Tablespoon (6 Tablespoon) basil leaves
- 455 g (1 pound) mixed olives, pitted
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Select Variable 1 and star the machine. Slowly increase speed to Variable 5 and blend for 30-35 seconds, using the tamper to press the ingredients into the blades.
