Cashew French Onion Dip
A non-dairy solution to a party favorite, this dip tastes just like the real thing.

Ingredients
- 120 ml (½ cup) water
- (1 ) lemon, zested and juiced
- 225 g (2 cups) cashews, roasted or raw
- 30 ml (2 Tablespoons) worcestershire sauce [or vegan Worcestershire sauce]
- (2 teaspoons) minced onion
- (½ teaspoon) salt, optional
- (½ teaspoon) ground black pepper
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 30-40 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
Chef's Notes
- This is a great alternative to a traditional French onion dip with dairy.Worcestershire sauce has a deep rich flavor use less for a milder flavor.
