Salsa de piña

Esta salsa realza su color y sabor gracias a la piña. Puede prepararla tan picante o tan suave como guste para acompañar totopos de maíz azul o pescado a la parrilla.

Ingredientes

  • 2 cucharadas (30 ml) de aceite de oliva extra virgen (opcional)
  • ¼ (300 g) pineapple, peeled, cut into large chunks
  • ½ small (80 g) white onion, peeled, halved
  • 1 (150 g) red bell pepper, seeded, cut into large chunks
  • 2 cucharadas de hojas frescas de cilantro compactadas
  • ½ lima pelada
  • 1 jalapeño pequeño (15 g), sin semillas si lo desea
  • ½ cucharadita de sal kosher (opcional)

Instrucciones

  1. Vierta todos los ingredientes en el vaso de la Vitamix en el orden indicado y cierre bien la tapa.
  2. Select Variable 3. Pulse 10 to 20 times using the tamper to press ingredients towards the blades, until desired consistency is reached.
