Ingredients
- 3 slices (400 g) pineapple, peeled, halved, core included
- 1 cup (130 g) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.
- Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached.
Chef's Notes
- Pineapple naturally froths when blended. A couple of tricks to reduce frothing are to finish the blend on low speed for 15 seconds or strain the mixture through a sieve. Note this will remove fiber from the beverage. For a thinner consistency add some water or maybe boost the flavor and nutrition with coconut water. You may also freeze the juice to use at a later date.
