Caribbean Dry Rub
Taste the flavors of the islands with this spice blend.
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons (30 g) kosher salt, optional
- 2 Tablespoons dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
- ½ cup (100 g) coconut sugar [or date sugar]
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 10 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
