Sunset Smoothie
A unique medley of flavors gives this smoothie its nutritional value.
Ingredients
- 240 ml (1 cup) water
- 330 g (2 cups) pineapple chunks
- (1 medium) orange, peeled
- 30 g (¼ cup) beets, scrubbed
- 30 g (¼ cup) carrots
- 5 g (1 piece) fresh ginger root, 1/4" slice
- 30 g (1 cup) fresh spinach
- 35 g (1 cup) swiss chard
- (½ ) avocado, peeled, pitted
- (6 ) fresh cilantro leaves
- (2 small) broccoli florets
- 130 g (1 cup) ice cubes
Directions
1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
2. Start the machine on its lowest speed, then increase to its highest speed.
3. Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached.

- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
