Hot Chai Latte
This spiced tea beverage is light, foamed, and created with only three simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 360 ml (1 ½ cups) skim milk, warm, about 160 degrees F/ 70 degrees C
- 300 ml (1 ¼ cups) brewed chai tea
- 2 pinches (2 pinches) ground cinnamon
- Sweetener (optional)
Directions
- Place warm milk into the Aer® Disc container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Cold Foam Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then increase to Variable 6. Blend for 15 seconds.
- Stop the machine and remove the lid. Add chai tea and cinnamon, and secure the lid. Select Variable 5 and Pulse 3 to 5 times to incorporate.
- Sweeten if desired.
Chef's Notes
- It's best to heat the milk either in the microwave or on the stove top until it reaches a slow simmer. Recipe makes about 3 1/2 cups (840) warm skim milk foam.
