Afternoon Cacao & Mint Smoothie

Mint adds bright, refreshing flavour to this chocolatey smoothie, perfect for an afternoon snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (160 ml) almond milk
  • ⅓ cup (20 g) cacao powder
  • 3 Tablespoons (48 g) almond butter
  • 6 (90 g) deglet noor dates, pitted
  • 1½ cup (360 ml) water
  • 24 fresh mint leaves
  • 1½ (225 g) frozen banana, peeled
  • ¾ cup (105 g) ice cubes
  • 3 Tablespoons (30 g) cacao nibs, optional

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
  3. Blend for 45 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
