Ingredients
- 180 g (1¼ cup) dates, pitted
- 600 ml (2½ cups) water
Directions
- Place dates and water into the Vitamix container and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 1 minute.

Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Dips & Spreads Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 60 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
- Place in a non-stick sauce pot over medium low heat and let reduce by 1/3. You should end up with a product resembling a date paste or syrup when chilled.
