Berbere Spice Blend
This spice blend has a kick, and will go great with vegetables, fish, chicken and beef.
Ingredients
- 14 g (2 Tablespoons) coriander seeds
- 10 g (4 ) dried red chilies
- (4 ) allspice berries
- (2 teaspoons) fenugreek seeds
- (1 teaspoon) black peppercorns
- 40 g (¼ cup) dried onion flake
- 24 g (2 Tablespoons) dried garlic flake
- 80 g (½ cup) sweet paprika
- (1 teaspoon) ground cinnamon
- (1 Tablespoon) ground turmeric
- (¼ teaspoon) ground nutmeg
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 30 seconds or until a fine powder is achieved.

Chef's Notes
Using the 8 ounce container for spices is great, just blend and store in the same container.
