Hazelnut Hot Chocolate
A mixture of hazelnuts and cocoa powder make this beverage a chocolate sensation.
Ingredients
- ½ cup (70 g) toasted hazelnuts
- 2 Tablespoons raw cashews
- ½ cup (40 g) cocoa powder
- 10 (90 g) dates, pitted
- 3 cups (720 ml) Almond Milk [or milk alternative]
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Hot Soup Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 5 minutes 45 seconds.

- To toast raw hazelnuts, simply place on a baking sheet and into a 300°F (180°C) oven for 10-15 minutes, watching them carefully and removing when they are golden brown.
- If you want to enhance the flavor of this hot chocolate with a unique twist, try adding a pinch of chili powder, cinnamon, or a splash of vanilla extract to the drink before serving.
