Avocolada Smoothie

Enjoy all the flavor of a piña colada, but with a lot less sugar and fat!

Ingredients

  • 9 ounces (270 ml) soy milk
  • 3 ounces (90 ml) pineapple juice
  • 1 ½ cups (225 g) green grapes
  • ¼ teaspoon matcha green tea powder
  • 2 ½ cups (60 g) kale
  • 2 ½ cups (90 g) fresh spinach
  • 1 (160 g) gala apple, cored, quartered
  • ¼ medium (35 g) avocado
  • 1 ½ cups (195 g) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.

  • 14 Tablespoon (45 g) medium red apple, seeded
  • ½ cup (15 g) fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cups (10 g) kale
  • 1 pinch matcha green tea powder
  • ⅓ cup (50 g) green grapes
  • ¼ cup (30 g) pineapple
  • ¾ cup (180 ml) soy milk

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the blade base.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
  3. Blend for 30-40 seconds, or select Smoothie program and allow to complete programmed cycle.
