Helado de castaña

Receta basada en sabores tradicionales con castañas tostadas que evocan la temporada navideña.

Ingredientes

  • 1 ½ cups (200 g) chestnuts, roasted
  • 1 ½ taza (360 ml) de yogurt natural sin lácteos [o yogurt de vainilla bajo en grasa]
  • 15 dátiles (105 g) deshuesados
  • 6 tazas (780 g) de cubos de hielo

Instrucciones

  1. Place chestnuts, yogurt and dates in to the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.  Blend for 30 seconds creating a very smooth base. Stop the machine.
  3. Add ice and secure the lid.  Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.  Blend for 20 seconds.
