Gold Medal Smoothie
Keeping you energized and alert throughout the day, the Gold Medal Smoothie lives up to its name.
Ingredients
- ½ cup (120 ml) water
- 1 medium (125 g) banana, peeled
- ½ cup (30 g) cantaloupe chunks
- ½ small (30 g) carrots
- ¼ medium (40 g) orange, peeled
- ¼ lemon, peeled
- ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 slice (75 g) pineapple, peeled, halved
- 2 dates [or 1 Tablespoon honey, optional], pitted
- 2 cups (260 g) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
