Pomegranate Beet Smoothie
Pomegranate and beets are showcased in this smoothie, which also includes nutritious spinach and parsley.
Ingredients
- ½ cup (70 g) ice cubes
- ½ small (30 g) beets, washed
- 2 Tablespoons (5 g) Italian flat leaf parsley
- ½ large orange, peeled, halved
- ¼ large lemon, peeled
- ¼ cup (15 g) fresh spinach
- 1 piece (5 g) fresh ginger root, 1/4" slice
- ½ cup (120 ml) pomegranate juice
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the blade base.
- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
