Fruit Smoothie

This pink blend of red grapes, strawberries and banana makes a lovely, fat-free dessert or after-school snack.

Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (320 g) red grapes
  • 2 cups (300 g) strawberries
  • 2 medium (240 g) banana, peeled
  • 2 cups (260 g) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.

This drink is tart. If desired, sweeten to taste with your favorite sweetener. Consider using frozen fruits instead of ice to boost nutrition and texture.
