Orange Vodka Kombucha Cocktail

Sweet and tangy orange melds with vodka and kombucha to make a delicious crowd-pleasing cocktail.

Orange Vodka Cocktail Hero

Ingredients

  • 2 medium (300 g) oranges, peeled, halved
  • ¾ cup (180 ml) vodka, 80 proof
  • 2 cups (500 ml) kombucha, divided use
  • ice cubes, for serving

Directions

  1. Place the oranges, vodka, and 1¼ cups (300ml) of the kombucha into the Vitamix container and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
  3. Fill 6 serving glasses just under halfway with ice. Pour 1/2 cup (125ml) of the orange puree over each. Top each glass with 1 fl. oz. (30ml) of kombucha to add effervescence.

We used a blueberry flavored kombucha in this recipe, adding a nice sweetness to round out the orange flavor, but you can use any flavor that suits your taste buds.
