Cherry, Pistachio, Cardamom kombucha Smoothie

A unique blend of flavor, with the probiotic help of kombucha.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups (360 ml) ginger kombucha, or any flavor
  • 2 Tablespoons (25 g) pistachio nuts, toasted, shelled
  • 3 dates [or 1 Tablespoon honey], pitted
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • ½ small (60 g) frozen banana
  • 1 cup (125 g) frozen peach slices, thawed
  • 1 cup (150 g) frozen dark sweet cherries

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.  Blend for 1 minute 20 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
