Yes, the warranty is transferable.  We will honor the remaining warranty based on the original date of purchase.

To find out how many years are remaining on your warranty, contact Customer Service and have your serial number available, which can be found on the back or bottom of your machine’s motor base, under the bar code.

If you purchased your machine from a Vitamix show or from another online store or retail location, you can register your machine online. Vitamix warranties cover all parts, performance, and labor. If any part of your machine needs to be repaired or replaced during the length of your warranty (excluding damage caused by user error), Vitamix will take care of it at no charge, including two-way shipping. The length of your machine’s warranty depends on the model you select. An extended warranty is also available for all Vitamix machines at the time of original purchase.

Registering your machine with Vitamix® helps us update you with product notifications as necessary, and ensures efficient service if you ever need a repair.

The Eco 5 bundle sold at Costco includes the standard 3-year warranty, plus an additional 2-year extended warranty for a total of 5 years of coverage.
