Going Green Smoothie
This delicious blend of sweet fruits and fresh spinach is a great starter recipe for someone who is new to green smoothies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 2 cups (300 g) green grapes
- 2 slices (180 g) pineapple, peeled, halved
- 4 cups (120 g) fresh spinach
- 1 (110 g) banana, peeled
- 1 cup (130 g) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
- Nutrition note:Grapes and pineapple provide hydration and a burst of vitamins C and A, antioxidants, and natural sweetness. Spinach adds a wealth of vitamins K and A, iron, and fiber, supporting energy, gut health and overall health. Bananas contribute potassium and vitamin B6, promoting heart health and energy metabolism. This combination creates a light and refreshing beverage.

- For a little extra sweetness, add pitted dates to this recipe.
