Strawberry Banana Shake
This whole-fruit shake packs intense strawberry and banana flavor for a quick, refreshing snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (230 g) vanilla nonfat frozen yogurt
- 1 cup (125 g) frozen strawberries
- 2 Tablespoon peeled, halved
- ¾ cup (180 ml) milk
- 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
- ¼ cup (30 g) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Turn machine on and slowly increase to the highest speed.
- Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached.
Chef's Notes
Substitute strawberry frozen yogurt or ice cream for vanilla nonfat frozen yogurt. For a non-dairy alternative, use soy milk and soy ice cream.

- ½ cup (70 g) frozen strawberries, diced
- ½ cup (115 g) vanilla nonfat frozen yogurt
- ½ small (50 g) banana
- 3 fl.oz (90 ml) Almond Milk [or milk alternative]
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the blade base.
- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds.
Chef's Notes
- Substitute strawberry frozen yogurt or ice cream for vanilla nonfat frozen yogurt or ice cream. For a non-dairy alternative, use soy milk and soy ice cream.
- Frozen, whole strawberries will not process the same as the smaller, diced strawberries called for in this recipe.
