Mango Salsa

This sweet, chunky salsa makes a great appetizer or chicken garnish.

Ingredients

  • 2 (670 g) mangoes, peeled, pitted, sliced
  • 1 cup (20 g) fresh cilantro leaves
  • ½ medium (60 g) red onion, peeled, halved
  • 1 jalapeño, halved, seeded
  • ½ lime, peeled

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to Variable 4. Blend for 15 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.

Chef's Notes

  • Blending on low speed allows for a chunkier salsa, you may also use the pulse feature on the blender.
