Gluten-Free Brownies
A delicious, gluten-free indulgence for all to enjoy.
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup (40 g) cornstarch
- ¼ cup (20 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon (1 teaspoon) ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon (1 teaspoon) salt, optional
- 6 Tablespoons (85 g) butter
- ¾ cup (150 g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon (1 teaspoon) vanilla extract
- 3 large (3 large) eggs
- 1 ½ cups (225 g) semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC) and grease an 8-inch (20 cm) square glass pan.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine the cornstarch, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and salt, optional. Whisk by hand until well blended.
- Place butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 35 seconds. Pour mixture into dry ingredients, add chocolate chips and stir together to combine.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Chef's Notes
- Add your favorite chopped nuts along with the chocolate chips for more flavor.Note: When checking for doneness, because of the melted chocolate chips the toothpick may not come out clean. To tell if brownies are done, top should be firm to the touch and sides should be just beginning to turn crisp.
