Chocolate Espresso Fondue
The perfect "please-a-crowd-in-a-hurry" dessert, combining the rich flavors of chocolate and espresso. Suggested dippers: sponge or pound cake, pretzel sticks, marshmallows, or your favorite fruits.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 2 cups (480 ml) heavy cream
- 10 teaspoons instant espresso powder
- 24 ounces (700 g) semisweet chocolate chips
- ¼ cup (60 ml) brandy
Directions
- Place water, cream, espresso powder, and chocolate into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed and increase to its highest speed. Blend for 3 minutes 30 seconds or until melted and smooth. Using the tamper if needed. Pour into fondue pot and stir in brandy.
Chef's Notes
- For dippers, try sponge cake, pound cake, sliced apples, sliced pears, marshmallows, strawberries, bananas, fresh or canned pineapple chunks.
