Cleveland, Ohio – August 22, 2019 – The Vitamix® Ascent™ Series smart system blender line has been named the Silver winner in the Consumer Product Line of the Year category in Best in Biz Awards 2019 International. Best in Biz International is the only independent global business awards program judged by prominent editors and reporters from top-tier publications from around the world. This was the first time Vitamix entered the program.
The Vitamix Ascent Series represents the first high-performance smart blender line, with wireless technology and a family of SELF-DETECT® containers to accompany you both at home and on the go. The series combines state-of-the-art design with power and precision, plus the quality synonymous with the Vitamix name. The Vitamix Perfect Blend App enhances the experience even more, with 500+ recipes, meal planning capabilities, the option to sync with fitness tracking devices, and the ability to run automated blender programs right from your phone.
The Ascent Series received the Gold Award for Consumer Product Line of the Year in the Best in Biz Awards 2018 North America.
“At Vitamix, we strive to create products that translate to actual life improvements for our customers, versus technology for technology’s sake,” said Mark Fleming, Senior Vice President, Business Operations and Development at Vitamix. “This award affirms the global significance and relevance of our innovations.”
Close to 300 public and private companies from all sectors of the global economy and more than 30 countries competed in Best in Biz Awards’ 7th annual International program. Best in Biz Awards 2019 International honors were presented in a range of categories, including Fastest-Growing Company of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year, Support Department of the Year, Executive of the Year, Most Innovative Product, Enterprise Product, CSR Program and Environmental Program of the Year.
Winners in the 7th annual program were determined based on scoring from an independent panel of judges hailing from a wide spectrum of top-tier publications and media outlets from 11 countries. Each year, only editors, writers and contributors to business, consumer, financial, trade and technology publications, as well as broadcast outlets and analyst firms, are invited to serve as judges in Best in Biz Awards. The program’s uniqueness stems, in part, from this distinct composition of its judging panels, enabling it to best leverage the judges’ unparalleled expertise, experience and objectivity to determine award winners.
The 2019 judging panel included writers and contributors to such publications as Computer Hoy (Spain), Data Breach Today, HT Mobile (Israel), Huffington Post, IAA Magazine (United Arab Emirates), NDR (Germany), Small Business IT (Canada), TechRadar (United Kingdom), as well as other outlets from Australia, Canada, India, Indonesia and United Kingdom.
“I was pleased to be asked to judge in Best in Biz Awards 2019 International,” said Zvi Wrobel, HTMAG. “I continue to be amazed by the quality of the entries, with all companies offering very impressive advances in technology. It was difficult selecting a winner.”
