Sunset Smoothie
A unique medley of flavors gives this smoothie its nutritional value.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 2 cups (330 g) pineapple chunks
- 1 medium orange, peeled
- ¼ cup (30 g) beets, scrubbed
- ¼ cup (30 g) carrot
- 1 piece (5 g) fresh ginger root, 1/4" slice
- 1 cup (30 g) fresh spinach
- 1 cup (35 g) swiss chard
- ½ avocado, peeled, pitted
- 1 teaspoon fresh cilantro leaves
- 2 small broccoli florets
- 1 cup (130 g) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
