Peanut Butter Mocha Frosty
Some flavors are meant to go together, like chocolate and peanut butter. And with protein powder and a hint of espresso, this desert-like blend is the perfect way to start your day.Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) vanilla soy milk
- 2 Tablespoons (5 g) instant espresso powder
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) chocolate syrup
- ¼ cup (20 g) chocolate protein powder
- 1 Tablespoon peanut butter
- 2 cups (260 g) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
Chef's Notes
- When blending protein powders, they sometimes stick to the sides of the container. To prevent this, place milk, espresso, syrup, peanut butter and ice to the container. Pour in the powder through the lid plug opening once the mixture has started to blend.
