Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

Peanut butter adds a delicious twist to a favorite drink.

Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (960 ml) almond milk
  • ½ cup (40 g) cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup (120 g) peanuts, roasted unsalted [or raw]
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 12 (180 g) deglet noor dates, pitted

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Hot Soup Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.  Blend for 5 minutes 45 seconds.

  • ⅓ cup (60 g) peanuts, roasted unsalted [or raw]
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 (90 g) deglet noor dates, pitted

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 5-6 minutes or until heavy steam escapes from vented lid plug opening. Serve immediately.

  • ⅓ cup (60 g) peanuts, roasted unsalted [or raw]
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 (90 g) deglet noor dates, pitted

  2. Run the Hot Soup Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its  highest speed.  Blend for 7 minutes 30 seconds.
