Vegan Parmesan Cheese (Immersion Chopper) [Immersion Blender]
An easy-to-make parmesan cheese substitute that won't have you missing the real thing. Great for pizza, salads, or sprinkled on veggies for a simple snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (140 g) roasted or raw cashews
- ½ cup (70 g) hemp seeds
- 3 Tablespoons (16 g) nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt, optional
Directions
- Place the ingredients into the work bowl fitted with the chopping blade. Snap the lid into place and secure the immersion motor to the lid.
- Select Variable 5 and run continuously for 10-15 seconds or until desired consistency is reached. Be careful not to over-process or you may create a nut butter.
- Pour into an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
