Sunshine Smoothie
Carrots and lemon are complimented by sweet oranges to make a healthy juice-style smoothie.

Ingredients
- 3 cups (720 ml) water
- 4 medium (500 g) oranges, peeled, halved
- 6 medium (400 g) carrots
- 2 slices (20 g) lemon, 1/4"
- 2 cups (260 g) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
Chef's Notes
- Instead of ice cubes try frozen mango or pineapple to boost the nutrition and flavor. Maybe try a little fresh ginger or turmeric to give this smoothie a refreshing spice.
