Strawberry Whipped Cream [Immersion Blender]
Good & Gather™ Signature Recipe Take advantage of the freshest, in-season fruit by turning them into purees, where they can easily be worked into a whipped cream for a pop of flavor.Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) Good & Gather heavy cream
- 1 Tablespoon date syrup
- ¼ cup (60 g) strawberry puree
Directions
- Pour the heavy whipping cream and syrup into the Vitamix Immersion Blending Jar or an appropriately sized container.
- Submerge the immersion blender and whisk attachment below the surface of the liquid.
- Start the immersion whisk on its lowest speed, then increase to high speed. Move the immersion whisk around, including up and down, to whisk the ingredients for approximately 2 to 3 minutes, or until desired consistency is achieved.
- Once the cream is thick, stop the immersion blender. Add the strawberry puree and blend for 5-10 seconds or until incorporated. Scrape down container if necessary.
Chef's Notes
- Pre-chilling the Immersion Blending Jar helps the cream to whip up quicker. (10 minutes in the refrigerator will do.)
- Make a strawberry puree easily in your Vitamix container by simply blending the fruit on the highest speed in your regular wet-blade container for 30 seconds or until smooth.
- Any other fruit you desire can also be used as a flavoring for this whipped cream.
