Restore Smoothie
These smoothie ingredients give you the nutrients, vitamins, and minerals you need to support overall health and well-being. Light and fresh, this restorative beverage is great motivation for any wellness routine.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups (360 ml) water
- 1 (135 g) granny smith apple, halved, seeded
- 2 cups (50 g) baby spinach
- 2 cups (35 g) kale
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 piece (8 g) fresh ginger root, unpeeled, washed
- 5 cilantro stalks
- 1 slice lime, 1 1/4", with rind
- 2 cups (275 g) frozen pineapple chunks
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
Chef's Notes
- If a thinner juice consistency is desired, simply use fresh pineapple instead of frozen.
