Hazelnut Dukkah

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup (40 g) hazelnuts, toasted, peeled
  • 2 Tablespoons (20 g) pistachio nuts, toasted, shelled
  • 1 Tablespoon black sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1 Tablespoon coriander seeds, toasted
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seed, toasted
  • 1 teaspoon fennugreek
  • 1 teaspoon ground dried sumac
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, optional

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container and secure the lid.
  2. Select Variable 7. Start the blender and blend for 10–15 seconds or until coarsely ground.

Chef's Notes

  • Be careful to not over blend this recipe, or it will become a nut butter.What better way to accentuate a dish than by adding this homemade rich and flavorful seasoning blend.
