Cherry, Butternut Squash and Millet Baby Food [Immersion Blender]

This dish is chock-full of wonderful health benefits for your baby. From the antioxidants in the cherries and the dietary fiber in the squash, to the protein in the millet, it's the perfect trifecta.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (185 g) butternut squash, peeled, steamed, cooled
  • ½ cup (90 g) cherries pitted
  • ½ cup (75 g) cooked millet, cooled
  • ¾ cup (180 ml) breast milk or your choice of alternative milk product

Directions

  1. Place ingredients in the Vitamix Immersion Blending Jar or appropriately sized container.
  2. Submerge the immersion blender below the surface of the liquid, or as close to the ingredients as possible.
  3. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Move the immersion blender around, including up and down, to blend the ingredients for approximately 60 seconds or until desired consistency is achieved
