Cacao Rub
Use as a steak seasoning for a unique flavor experience.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ cup (55 g) light brown sugar, packed
- 2 Tablespoons (35 g) sea salt
- 4 Tablespoons (45 g) cacao nibs
- 4 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
- 2½ teaspoon whole cumin seeds, toasted
- 6 Tablespoon allspice
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 5.
- Blend for 15 to 20 seconds, using the tamper to press the ingredients into the blades.

Leave somewhat coarse, but blended.
